Terms & Conditions
Effective 16 September 2026 · Roamledge LTD
These Terms explain what you can expect from Roamledge and what we expect from you when you buy and use our travel eSIM data plans.
Please read them together with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy and Cookie Policy.
1. Who we are
Roamledge LTD ("Roamledge", "we", "us") is a company registered in Hong Kong SAR under registration number [Company registration number — to be confirmed], with its registered office at [Registered address — to be confirmed].
We sell prepaid mobile data plans delivered as eSIM profiles through our website. The underlying profiles and network access are provided by our connectivity partner, eSIM Access (Redtea Mobile), and the mobile networks it works with in each destination.
These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Roamledge. By creating an account or buying a plan, you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the service.
2. Definitions
- Service — the Roamledge website, account area and the prepaid mobile data plans we sell.
- eSIM — a digital SIM profile you install on a compatible device to access mobile data.
- Plan — a prepaid data allowance for a destination, valid for a stated number of days.
- Account — the personal account you create to buy plans and manage your eSIMs.
- Roam Points — our loyalty credits, described in section 8.
3. Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age for data-processing consent where you live, and never under 13 with parental consent) to hold an account.
To create an account you provide your name, email address and a password, or sign in with Google.
- Keep your login details confidential — you are responsible for activity under your account.
- Give accurate information and keep your email address current, because we deliver eSIMs and receipts by email.
- Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you believe someone else has accessed your account.
- We may suspend or close accounts used fraudulently, abusively, or in breach of these Terms.
4. What the service does and does not include
Roamledge plans provide mobile data only. They do not include a phone number, voice calls or SMS. Calls and messages over apps such as WhatsApp or FaceTime work normally because they use data.
- Your device must be eSIM-compatible and not locked to a carrier. Use our device checker before buying.
- Coverage, speed and available network technology (4G, 5G) depend on the local networks in each destination and are outside our direct control.
- Some plans apply a daily allowance and reduce speed or pause data once it is used, as shown on the plan before purchase.
- Tethering or hotspot use may be limited by the local network.
- An eSIM is tied to the device it is installed on and cannot be transferred to another device.
We work hard to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, because it depends on third-party networks and systems.
5. Orders, prices and payment
All prices are shown in US dollars and include applicable taxes and fees unless stated otherwise. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay.
- A contract is formed when we confirm your order by email.
- Payments are handled by third-party payment providers. We do not store your full card details.
- If your payment provider charges currency conversion or foreign transaction fees, those are outside our control.
- We may cancel an order and refund it in full if the plan is unavailable, the price was clearly wrong, or we suspect fraud.
Your eSIM is delivered by email and in your account, usually within a few minutes. Delivery times may vary when our supplier's systems are busy.
6. Activation and validity
Each plan shows when it starts: either when you install the eSIM, or when your device first connects to a network at the destination. The validity period then runs continuously, including days you do not use data.
- Install your eSIM before you travel, while you have Wi-Fi.
- Each plan must be installed within the period shown on the plan page (often 180 days from purchase) or it expires unused.
- A plan ends when the data allowance is used up or the validity period ends, whichever comes first.
- Unused data is not refunded or carried over.
- You can top up eligible eSIMs from your account before they expire.
7. Refunds and cancellations
Our full policy is set out in the Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In summary:
- Full refund on request if the eSIM has not been installed, within 14 days of purchase.
- Refund or replacement if an installed eSIM fails for technical reasons that are not caused by your device or settings.
- No refund once data has been used, or after the plan has expired.
- Refunds go back to the original payment method; any Roam Points spent are returned to your account.
8. Account balance
You can add money to your Roamledge account balance and use it to pay for plans. The balance is prepaid store credit in US dollars. It is not a bank deposit, it earns no interest, and it is not electronic money.
- The balance can only be spent on Roamledge plans and services. It cannot be sold, transferred to another account, or exchanged for cash.
- Top-ups are limited to US$5–US$500 at a time, with a maximum of US$2,000 held on an account. We may lower these limits or decline a top-up to prevent fraud or abuse.
- Your balance does not expire while your account is open.
- When an order paid from balance is refunded, the refund returns to your balance.
- If you close your account, or we close it other than for abuse or fraud, we will return any unused balance you paid for, to the original payment method where we can, as required by applicable law. Credit we granted for free is not refundable.
- We may correct a balance that was credited in error, and may freeze a balance while we investigate suspected fraud.
9. Roam Points and referrals
Roam Points are promotional credits with no cash value. 100 points are worth US$1 when spent on a Roamledge plan.
- You earn a percentage of each paid order back as points, at the tier rate shown in your account.
- Points become spendable 14 days after the order that earned them.
- You can spend from 100 points, covering up to 50% of an order.
- Referral rewards are credited to both people once the invited friend's first order is paid. Self-referrals and duplicate accounts do not qualify.
- Points cannot be sold, transferred or exchanged for cash, and are lost if you close your account.
- We may adjust or withdraw points obtained through error, abuse or fraud, and may change the programme with reasonable notice.
10. Promotional codes
- Promo codes are non-transferable, have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.
- Each code may carry its own conditions, such as an expiry date, a minimum order value, a usage limit or specific destinations.
- Only one promo code can be applied per order unless stated otherwise.
- We may withdraw a code at any time, and may cancel orders where a code has been used in bad faith.
11. Acceptable use
When using Roamledge you agree not to:
- break any law that applies to you, or use the service for fraud or other criminal activity
- resell, sublicense or commercially redistribute plans without our written agreement
- use the service in a way that damages networks, disrupts other users, or places unreasonable load on our systems
- attempt to access accounts, systems or data that are not yours, or bypass security measures
- copy, scrape, reverse engineer or create derivative works from our website or content
- misuse promotions, loyalty points or referrals, including through multiple or fake accounts

13. Intellectual property
The Roamledge name, logo, website, illustrations, copy and software are owned by us or our licensors. You may use the site for its intended purpose only. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.
14. Warranties and disclaimers
We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, the service is provided "as is" without further warranties.
We do not warrant that coverage, speed or availability will meet your expectations in every location, as these depend on local networks, your device and where you are.
Nothing here excludes rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded by law.
15. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid for the plan the claim relates to.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, missed bookings, lost data or costs of alternative connectivity.
We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
16. Indemnity
You agree to cover reasonable losses we suffer because you broke these Terms or used the service unlawfully, including reasonable legal costs.
17. Events outside our control
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as network outages, supplier failures, natural events, war, strikes, or government action.
18. Changes to the service and these Terms
We may update the service and these Terms, for example to reflect legal changes or new features. The effective date at the top shows the current version. Material changes will be announced on the website or by email, and continuing to use the service means you accept the updated Terms.
19. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
Please contact us first at [email protected] — most issues are resolved quickly. If we cannot resolve a dispute, it will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong SAR, without affecting mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
20. General
- If a provision is found unenforceable, the rest of these Terms continue to apply.
- Failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it.
- You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent; we may transfer ours as part of a reorganisation or sale of the business.
- These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Refund Policy and Cookie Policy, are the whole agreement between us.
